Hawaii had reassured him that it wasn't 'a disaster', but the fact that they had to stop because it was too painful kind of made it so that now trying to face it again would be more...Well, intimidating for Rico, and possibily more frustrating for Hawaii himself though he'd never admit it.

Rico assumes that they will keep being friends and discuss what happened in a way that hopefully didn't make it worse. The tarot reading Rico gave himself said they were gonna be okay, so...

"Hello." Rico sits next to Hawaii at dinner. "How did the mission go?"

There you go, asking for a sexy thing in the most unsexy way possible. Then again he's talking in general, not right now.

It's just so weird, now. Technically what Rico just said is sweet, and yeah, he was trying to help.it could've been just a cute misunderstanding, and yet it feels so fucking awkward, and not because this is sexual.

"I'm sorry" he mumbles, pulling him in a hug again.

"Uh. No problem."

He caresses Hawaii's hand with his own.

"Hey," he interrupts himself with a yawn "do you mind if I sleep here?"

"Not at all! We should just get that shower first"

It's almost embarrassing how little it takes for him to cheer up.

"I think that would actually be great"

"Yeah...It is great..."

Mumbling gently, he curls up a bit and falls asleep.

Well, it's not really that important in the end.
He smiles at Rico, stretches one hand over the bed to set the alarm, then gives him another kiss brfore deciding its time for him to fall asleep too.

Just like the first time, Rico wakes up with Hawaii's arms wrapped around him, and looks down at his hands. Caresses them mindlessly. He feels...Troubled, but he doesn't know by what just yet. Maybe it's some general anxiety spiking up because of hormones or whatever.

"Hey...What time is it?"

"ugh... Don't know. Did the alarm wake you up?" he asks, instinctively reaching for it on the bedside table, and knocks it off.

"Whatever. Fixed it"

"No, it's not that." he yawns "I was wondering how much time we have left before training."

"uh" the alarm starts beeping, "about a couple of hours"

With an huff, he sits up and climbs over Rico to get out of the bed. He then shuts the alarm off, since he meant to be awake around that time anyway.

"I thought that naybe we could take it a little easier this morning. Get sone more cuddles. I dunno"

He moves the covers to the side as he speaks, so that he can lay back down.

"Oh yeah! I love cuddles!"

He smiles, and almost wants to let out some sort of noise to express how happy that makes him feel.

Instead, he pecks Rico's lips, and scoots closer.
"Did you sleep well?"
